Wednesday 16/January - 2019.  Sigiriya Ancient Rock Fortress, Dambulla, Sri Lanka - 2019. - After a good night's sleep, it was up at 05:30 am, time for shower, breakfast at 06:30 am, then leave our hotel at 07:30 am for a short drive to visit Sigiriya or Sinhagiri, which is an ancient rock fortress located in the northern Matale District near the town of Dambulla in the Central Province, Sri Lanka.

"This Is A UNESCO World Heritage Site. With Plenty Of Walking Up And Up And Up".

We started walking up Sigiriya Rock, I only made it to the giant lion paws that guard the main gateway (As Worried In Case It Affected My Hip). Scona along with some of our tour group continued up to the summit, while myself and the rest of the group waited, but having said that we had still climbed a long way up.

After our visit to Sigiriya Rock, it was back to our hotel for lunch and dinner as well as chilling out, along with a few ice cold beers,  for our second night stay. Another End To A Great Day.
