Tuesday 19/April - 2016, Buenos Aires, Argentina - 2016. - This morning I woke at around 04:00 am. We got up at 06:00 am, I had a bit of a headache, possibly with the way I was drinking the quench to fast last night. We had a great tour around Buenos Aires today. It was very interesting, we were taken to some great places.

Our first point of interest on our tour this morning was at The Plaza de Mayo, which is the main square in the Montserrat Barrio of central Buenos Aires, Argentina. The main attraction here is La Casa Rosada, where Eva Perón gave her speech from, on the balcony of this beautiful pink mansion with it's palace-like design. Outside La Casa Rosada is a bronze statue of General Belgrano. After our visit to The Plaza De Mayo we drove onto La Boca neighbourhood Of Buenos Aires, which is famed for its colourful houses, its tango and its football team and its most famous player Maradona. La Boca is a brilliant place to walk around, with its colourful streets, a great place for photographs. La Boca has lots to offer other than El Caminito, it's the few surrounding streets, La Boca can be dangerous for tourists who stray off the tourist path.

We then made our way to The Floralis Genérica, this is a sculpture made of steel and aluminium located in Plaza de las Naciones Unidas. This sculpture is that it acts like a real flower in that its gigantic petals are open during the day and then close for the night with a red glow emanating from within. After this we made our way to La Recoleta Cemetery, which has range of ornately decorated mausoleums, many of which are made of marble and adorned with statues. This is the cemetery and burial place of Eva Perón, which is down a narrow passageway that leads to the tomb and is often full of tourists taking photos.

After this heading back to our hotel early afternoon, we then took a stroll up to The Obelisco de Buenos Aires, which is a national historic monument and icon of Buenos Aires, as this would be a good photo stop, then it was time to chill out, and a and a bit of a rest before we went out to a Tango Dinner Show at 8:00 pm.
