001 - National Railway Museum, (Locomotion), Soho St, Shildon, Co Durham DL4 1PQ, UK - 2014.
One Friday morning in February we visited National Rail Museum at Shildon, County Durham, UK.
Over 9 days 120,000 people from as far as the United States and China visited the free nine-day exhibition for The Great Goodbye, this was the reunion of the six surviving A4 locomotives, Mallard, Union of South Africa, Dominion of Canada, Bittern, Sir Nigel Gresley and Dwight D Eisenhower.
The trains where not very well placed for photographs, but a great day out, viewing these beautiful A4 class locomotives and seeing history. I will surely visit The National Rail Museum again.
