Warkworth To Alnmouth Walk, Northumberland, UK – 2020.

As part of our weekly walks myself, and 4 friends, Tony Tweddle, Elaine Bowden, Maureen Finlay & John Finlay, set out on our walk on from Warkworth, Northumberland. We spent around Two hours here walking on a round trip route from Warkworth, & back again, up along Warkworth Beach, to Almouth, before turning back.

We All Travelled Up To Warkworth, Meeting Up And Walking Together, Trying To Maintain Social Distancing, Most Of The Time I Am About Half Mile Behind, Taken Some Good Landscape Photos, As We Walk, But Not In A Group.

As we were walking along Warkworth Beach, it was a fresh day, but mild for the time of the year, once we reached Alnmouth Bay, we climbed to top of the hill, to St Cuthbert’s Cross (Dated 684 AD), this was pleasant walk, up on the Northumberland Coast.

Distance Walked 6.21 mile – Time 2:17:44.

Just to think, only about 45 miles from my home I can be into some beautiful countryside, within around a 1 hour drive. "Another Great Walk On This Bright & Fresh Late Autumn Day"
