Druridge To Creswell, Northumberland, UK – 2020.

As part of our weekly walks myself, and 2 friends, Maureen Finlay & John Finlay, set out on our walk on from Druridge Bay Country Park, Northumberland. We spent around Two hours here walking on a round trip route from Druridge Bay Country Park, & back again, up along Druridge Bay Beach, towards Creswell, before turning back.

As we were walking along Druridge Bay, the rain became very heavy and windy, walking along the sands was very heavy and tiring on the legs. We had walked about 2.8 miles along the sand, before turning back, we came up over the sand dunes, and continued back towards Druridge Bay, along the country pathways.

We stopped off at Druridge Bay Country Park, to have a couple of sandwiches that we had brought with us, before setting off back towards our car, then off back home.

This was such exhilarating walk, on this wet and windy day, up on the Northumberland Coast. Distance Walked 5.89 mile – Time 2:06:07.

I always take my little Lumix camera with me, just to record our walks by taken photos while on the move. Just to think, only about 32 miles from my home I can be into some beautiful countryside, within around a 1 hour drive. "Another Great Walk On This Overcast & Wet Summer Day"
