Seaton Sluice To Holywell Dene, Northumberland, UK - 2020.

As part of our weekly walks myself, and friends, Tony Tweddle, John Finlay & Maureen Finlay set out on a walk from Seaton Sluice to Holywell Dene, Northumberland.

Just to think, only about 15 miles from my home I can be into some beautiful countryside, within around a 30 minute drive. We walked on a round trip from Seaton Sluice and passing along the way, St Mary’s Lighthouse. Although we did not go down to St Mary’s Island, we set off into the countryside, passing along the way Briar Dene Farm, Crow Hall Farm, Holywell Dene, The Waggon Way and continuing back toward Seaton Sluice, passing The Harbour, then heading back to our car.

We had a picnic on the beach, before setting off home. This was a very beautiful sunny day, as usual we all enjoyed ourselves, we spent around 2:12:09 hours walking 6.20 miles on this beautiful Thursday morning.
