Thursday 10/October – 2019.   Cresswell, Northumberland, UK – 2019.

As part of our weekly walks myself, and 3 friends, Elaine Bowden, Maureen Finlay & John Finlay, set out on our walk on from Cresswell, Northumberland. "Old Lads & Lasses Weekly Walk."  We spent around 2 & Half hours here walking on a round trip route from Cresswell, & back again, up along Cresswell Beach towards Druridge Bay Beach, before turning back, this was around an 8 mile round trip walk. We stopped off for coffee and scones at The Drift Café at Cresswell, this is a beautiful, very popular café nestled in the dunes, serving great food, with very friendly staff and spotlessly clean, before setting off back towards our car, then off back home.

This was such a beautiful day, sunny, warm in the shade, a little windy, but all in all a very pleasant day to walk, as we all thoroughly enjoyed ourselves, up here on the beautiful Northumberland Coast. What a beautiful beach up here in Northumberland, Cresswell Beach is a magnificent stretch of beach and has several nature reserves tucked behind its dunes. These are so beautiful areas and walks within Northumberland. I always take my little Lumix camera with me, just to record our walks by taken photos while on the move. Just to think, only about 27 miles from my home I can be into some beautiful countryside, within around a 30 minute drive. "Another Great Walk On This Beautiful Autumn Day"
