Thursday 07/March - 2019. Waskerley Way, County Durham, UK - 2019.
"Parkhead Station Tea Rooms, Stanhope, Durham, UK" Today we went on the Waskerley Way, for the Old Lads & Lasses Weekly Thursday Walk. I went with my 3 friends, Tony Tweddle, John Finlay & Maureen Finlay.
It was freezing up here today, as we got part of the way around our walk, it started to pour down with rain, plus a wind, as we were out in the open, we got soaking, this made our pace much faster to get back to the car. Once back to the car, it was off with our wet gear and away back home. This walk only took us "One & Three Quarter Hours" I always take my little Lumix TZ40 camera with me, just to record our walks by taken photos while on the move. Just to think, only about 31 miles from my home I can be into some beautiful countryside, within around a 45-minute drive.
