Thursday 15/November – 2018.Amble To Hauxley, Northumberland, UK – 2018.
Today (15/November - 2018) we had our weekly "Old Men's Walk & The Lasses" - Myself and 4 friends, John Finlay, Maureen Finlay, Eddy Forster & Tony Tweddle, we went to Amble, Northumberland. “This walk took us around 3 hrs:45 minutes".
Once we arrived and parked our car, we set off on our walk up past Amble Marina, and on through the grasslands towards Hauxley Nature Reserve, have a good walk around this beautiful nature reserve, stopping of at the visitors centre for coffee, tea, scones & sandwiches. After we finished in the visitors centre, we made our way back to our car at Amble Marina, we walked back along the beach on this beautiful bright, fresh autumn day. This round trip walk plus our walk around visitors centre, was about 8 & half miles.Another Great Walk. Once we finished our walk, it was into the car & back home again.
I always take my little Lumix camera with me, just to record our walks by taken photos while on the move. Just to think, only about 34 miles from my home I can be into some beautiful countryside, within around a 43-minute drive.
