Thursday 27/September – 2018.   Blanchland, Northumberland, UK - 2018.

As part of our weekly walks myself, and friends, Tony Tweddle, Maureen Finlay & John Finlay, set out on our walk around Blanchland, Northumberland, we spent around 2 hours on this walk. We spent around 2 hours walking up through the beautiful Blanchland Moors, and through the adjoining countryside. We stopped off for a sit down and a bit talk, before continuing on our walk, along the River Derwent, before arriving back into the beautiful village of Blanchland, Northumberland.

I always take my little Lumix camera with me, just to record our walks by taken photos while on the move. Just to think, only about 28 miles from my home I can be into some beautiful countryside, within around a 45-minute drive. After we finished our walk, it was in the car and making our way back home, stopping off at John & Maureen’s for coffee, sandwiches & biscuits.
