Thursday 09/August – 2018. Seaton Sluice To Holywell Dene, Northumberland, UK – 2018.
As part of our weekly walks myself, and 4 friends, set out on our walk from Seaton Sluice To Holywell Dene, Northumberland. “This walk took us around 3 hours and was aprox 8.5 miles.” Once we arrived and parked our car, we set off along the grasslands & cycleway towards St Mary’s Lighthouse.
Although we did not go down to St Mary’s Island, we set off into the countryside, passing along the way Briar Dene Farm, Crow Hall Farm, Holywell Dene, The Waggon Way and continuing back toward Seaton Sluice, passing The Harbour, then heading up towards The Waterford Arms at Collywell Bay.
We finished off at a little café “Castaways Tea Shop” for Tea, Coffee, Sandwiches & Toasties, this was a beautiful little café. - "Another Great Walk On A Beautiful Day" I always take my little Lumix camera with me, just to record our walks by taken photos while on the move. Just to think, only about 15 miles from my home I can be into some beautiful countryside, within around a 35 minute drive.
