Thursday 19/July – 2018. Bolam Lake To Shaftoe Crags, Northumberland, UK - 2018.
As part of our weekly walks myself, and 4 friends, Tony Tweddle, Eddy Forster, Ray Pallan & John Finlay, set out on our walk from Bolam Lake to Shaftoe Crags, Northumberland.
We spent around Two & Half Hours here, on this round trip walk. Once we arrived at Bolam Lake Country Park and parked our car, we then set off on our walk up over Shaftoe Crags and back again. We walked through some beautiful countryside today, we had the beautiful Bolam Lake and some very beautiful rugged countryside when we arrived at Shaftoe Crags, this was another great Thursday walk.
After we finished our walk, we stopped off at Bolam Lake Country Park Visitors Centre, for some tea, coffee, soft drinks and sandwiches (An Excellent Little Café) – This is another beautiful area, which is a short distance from our homes. I always take my little Lumix camera with me, just to record our walks by taken photos while on the move. Just to think, only about 18 miles from my home I can be into some beautiful countryside, within around a 35 minute drive.
