Thursday 14/June – 2018.Seaton Delaval To Seaton Sluice, Northumberland, UK - 2018.
Today (14/June - 2018) we had our weekly "Old Men's Walk & The Lasses" - Myself and 3 friends, John Finlay, Maureen Finlay & Tony Tweddle, we went to Seaton Sluice & parked the car. - “This walk took us around 2 & Half hours". Once we arrived and parked our car, we set off on our walk up to Seaton Delaval Hall, we crossed the fields and through some beautiful countryside, through Holywell Dene, Holywell and back into Holywell Dene, and finishing off at Seaton Sluice Harbour.
We did not see many people out walking today, as the winds were very strong, at time we could hardly stand up. But still this was another great walk in the beautiful Northumberland. After we finished our walk, we headed back home and we had coffee, sandwiches and biscuits at the home of Maureen & John Finlay. I always take my little Lumix camera with me, just to record our walks by taken photos while on the move. Just to think, only about 15 miles from my home I can be into some beautiful countryside, within around a 30-minute drive.
