Thursday 19/April - 2018. Craster To Embleton Bay, Northumberland, UK - 2018.
As part of our weekly walks myself, and friends, John Finlay & Maureen Finlay + Eddy & Maureen Forster, set out on our walk from Craster To Embleton Bay, Northumberland. Just to think, only about 45 miles from my home I can be into some beautiful countryside, within around a 1 hour drive.
We walked on a round trip from Craster To Embleton Bay & Back To Craster, Northumberland. This was a very beautiful & sunny day. We started our walk at Craster visitors centre, then heading along the sand dunes up and along past beautiful Dunstanburgh Castle, which is a 14th-century fortification on the coast of Northumberland, UK, between the villages of Craster and Embleton. We dropped down onto the beautiful beach at Embleton Bay, and continued our walk, to the end of the beach, before turning back to Craster. After arriving back into Craster, we went to a beautiful little café for tea, coffee, soup & sandwiches.
