Thursday 28/September – 2017.    Warkworth, Northumberland, UK - 2017.

As part of our weekly walks myself, and friends, Tony Tweddle, Ray Pallan & John Finlay, set out on our walk around Warkworth, Northumberland, we spent around 3 hours on this walk.

We headed a short walk along the River Coquet, we took one of the beautiful country walks around the beautiful farmland areas, which was an excellent place to get some good photos of this beautiful area. We eventually came to Warkworth Castle, which is a beautiful ruined medieval castle, overlooking the beautiful village of Warkworth.

I always take my little Lumix camera with me, just to record our walks by taken photos while on the move. Just to think, only about 34 miles from my home I can be into some beautiful countryside, within around a 45-minute drive. Once we get there, we park the car and set off on our walk, always ending our walk with a beautiful pint of shandy in a local pub, along with a snack.
