Thursday 27/July – 2017. Alnwick, Northumberland, UK - 2017.
As part of our weekly walks myself, and friends, Tony Tweddle, Ray Pallan & John Finlay, set out on our walk in Alnwick, Northumberland. We spent around 3 here, walking around Alnwick, as we spent time in the Town of Alnwick.
Then heading a short walk outside the town, took one of the beautiful country walks, taking us behind Alnwick Castle, which was an excellent place to get some good photos of this beautiful castle. Alnwick is a beautiful medieval market town in Northumberland, with its beautiful twisting cobbled streets. Alnwick Castle was the location for Hogwarts in the Harry Potter films.
I always take my little Lumix camera with me, just to record our walks by taken photos while on the move. Just to think, only about 37 miles from my home I can be into some beautiful countryside, within around a 45 minute drive. Once we get there, we park the car and set off on our walk, always ending our walk with a sandwich and coffee.
