Thursday 20/July – 2017. Seaton Sluice To Whitley Bay, Northumberland Coast, UK - 2017.
As part of our weekly walks myself, and friends, Tony Tweddle, Ray Pallan & John Finlay, set out on our walk on from Seaton Sluice to Whitley Bay, on the Northumberland Coast. We spent around 3 here, but actually walking on a roundtrip of 1 hour.
As today this was a total washout, we had to abandon our walk, due to fairly heavy rain. As we had plans of exploring this area from Blyth to Whitley Bay, so after too much rain, we just gave up. This is another beautiful area, which is a short distance from our homes, so one day we may come back and complete this walk.
I always take my little Lumix camera with me, just to record our walks by taken photos while on the move. Just to think, only about 15 miles from my home I can be into some beautiful countryside, within around a 30 minute drive. Once we get there, we park the car and set off on our walk, always ending our walk with a sandwich and coffee.
