Thursday 04/May – 2017.
As part of our weekly walks myself, and friends, Ray Pallan, Tony Tweddle & John Finlay, set out on our walk on The Stanhope Moors. We spent around 3 hours here walking on a round trip route along Waskerley Way, Stanhope, County Durham, from Parkhead Station & back again. The Stanhope Moors are so beautiful and remote I always take my little Lumix camera with me, just to record our walks by taken photos while on the move. Just to think, only about 22 miles from my home I can be into some beautiful countryside, within around a 45 minute drive. Once we get there, we park the car and set off on our walk, always ending our walk with a sandwich and coffee.
