As part of our weekly walks myself, and friends, Ray Pallan, Tony Tweddle & Graham Hepple, visited The Hownsgill Viaduct Walk, Consett, in County Durham.
We spent around 2 hours here walking around the beautiful Hownsgill Viaduct Walk, the scenery is so beautiful. Just to think, only about 12 miles from my home I can be into some beautiful countryside, within around a 30 minute drive. Once we get there, we park the car and set off on our walk, always ending our walk with a sandwich and coffee, followed by a nice pint of real ale at local pub.
