Friday 25/July - 2014.   County Durham & Upper Teesdale, UK - 2014.

Myself and my friend Ray (The Chink) Pallan went on a walk up and around County Durham & Middleton in Teesdale. This was another fantastic day out, having a good walk, and taken some good photographs on the way.

This day started as I arrived at "The Chinks" house at 07:15 am, and we set odd for High Force in Middleton In Teesdale, passing over The Stanhope Moors, heading for High Force, we were the first to arrive, have a short walk to our vantage point, for some good photos. After this we set of towards The Cow Green Nature Trail, this was a fantastic walk, on such a beautiful day.

We headed off towards Cauldron Snout, passing by Cow Green Reservoir, the beauty of the countryside was a fantastic sight. After walking The Cow Green Nature Trail, we manoeuvred ourselves up towards Cauldron Snout, we were taken back by the landscape and the ruggedness of the terrain, which at a point of no return, we decided to climb higher, which led us to safety. Walking back along the nature trail, we had coffee and sandwiches at the rest area, before driving to "The Langdon Beck Hotel" for a well deserved pint of Fosters Lager. We then we drove toward St John's Chapel in Weardale, looking around this beautiful little village before our drive home. Just To Say Another Fantastic Day Out, With My Good Friend "The Chinkster" Ray Pallan. Just to think, only about 46 miles from my home I can be into some beautiful countryside, within around a 67  minute drive. Once we get there, we park the car and set off on our walk, always ending our walk with a sandwich and coffee.
