Friday 24/January - 2014.   Dunstanburgh Castle, Northumberland, UK - 2014.

Myself and my friend Ray Pallan arranged a day out up The Northumberland Coast, and as Ray is an avid walker/rambler on Friday 24/January 2014, we drove up to The Northumberland Coast. We had an early start at 07:15 am. Setting off from my house, we had a fantastic day of walking, sightseeing and photography.

We started our day visiting Warkworth, and its Castle, then driving over to Boulmer, having a walk around , again driving Embleton for a fantastic round trip walk to Craster and back, visiting the beautiful Dunstanburgh Castle along the way. When we arrived in Craster, we stopped for a well deserved pint in The Jolly Fisherman Pub, before heading back to Embleton, this was a fantastic day out.

Just to think, only about 44  miles from my home I can be into some beautiful countryside, within around a 55  minute drive. Once we get there, we park the car and set off on our walk, always ending our walk with a sandwich and coffee.
