11/June - 2016. The Staithes, Dunston, Gateshead, UK - 2016.
Today there was a Food Market on at Dunston Staithes.
Although I had been ill all week, I had a walk down as The Staithes is only around 5 minutes walk from my house, apart from visiting The Food Market, it gave me a chance to get out of the house for a bit of fresh air and even take some photos of the event.
The beautiful structure The Staithes on the River Tyne is believed to be the largest timber structure in Europe. As I was taken photos with my little Lumix camera, I bumped into Ken Fitzpatrick, we had a chat before I headed off home. On the way out I bought myself a loaf of bread from The Artisan Bakery (It Was Beautiful) - I wish I had more time to spend looking around, but like I said, I was pretty ill that full week.
