Today I went to visit this beautiful outdoor museum. Which is a beautiful place to visit, this museum is a must for everyone young and old alike. Today was a great event “A Must To See” it was Horses At Work.
An amazing 50 horses were in action around the museum, including pit ponies, elegant carriage horses and heavy horses, ranging from Irish Draughts and Friesians to Shires and Clydesdales. Horses at Work, which is part of the Great North Festival of Transport, takes on a homecoming theme, showing the country returning to peacetime after the end of the First World War. All of this across this beautiful outdoor museum.
Stepping back in time to see and learn how your ancestors lived.I spent 3 hours walking around, checking out everything, and taken 281 photos. This was a fantastic day out.
