The Derwent Walk Country Park, Is A Beautiful Area, Around One & Half Mile From My Home. It Is Mixture Of Woodlands, Meadows, Wetlands, Riverside & Reclaimed Industrial Land And Is All Linked By The Derwent Walk.

This Is An Area I Used To Play Around When I Was A Child, Getting Up To Lots Of Adventures In The Woodlands. My Friend John L Moore's (Scona) Family Came From The Winlaton Mill Area Of This Beautiful Parkland, He Told Me Some Great Historical Facts About This Area, From Days Gone By.

Now People From All Walks Of Life Can View The Beauty Of This Parkland That We Have On Our Doorsteps & Just Take For Granted. You Have Walkers, Joggers, Horse Riders, People Walking Their Dogs, And Cyclists Using This Beautiful Area All Year Around. The Wildlife Here Is In Abundance. I Did This Project Over Two Weekends.
