Blyth, Northumberland, UK - 2017.
As part of our weekly walks myself, and friends, Tony Tweddle, Ray Pallan & John Finlay, set out on our walk around Blyth, Northumberland, we spent around 3 hours on this walk.
We parked the car at The Blyth/Hartley Links. We walked along The Links/Sand Dunes until we reached Blyth Battery, and then continued our walk on the beautiful Blyth Beach, up to Blyth Pier & Harbour.
This was such a beautiful place for another one of our walks here on the beautiful Northumberland Coast.
I always take my little Lumix camera with me, just to record our walks by taken photos while on the move. Just to think, only about 20 miles from my home I can be into some beautiful countryside, within around a 30-minute drive.
Once we get there, we park the car and set off on our walk, always ending our walk with a beautiful pint of shandy in a local pub (The Melton Constable, At Seaton Sluice), along with a soup and sandwich.
